These Terms govern your access to and use of the UpMentor-X application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Minimum Age
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service.
Accurate Information
You must provide true, current, and complete details during registration and keep your information updated.
Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.
Compliance with Indian Law
You agree to comply with all applicable laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act 2000, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and Indian Penal Code.
Non-Transferable Accounts
Your account is personal and non-transferable. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to any other person or entity.
Commercial Use Restrictions
No external commercial use of our Service is permitted unless explicitly approved by UpMentor-X in writing.
Platform Ownership
All intellectual property rights in the UpMentor-X platform, including software, design, trademarks, and content, are owned by or licensed to UpMentor-X.
Nature of Mentorship
Mentorship provided through UpMentor-X is experiential guidance and should not be considered professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Always consult appropriate licensed professionals for specific advice.
Service Provided "As Is"
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Limitation of Liability
UpMentor-X's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount of fees you have paid to UpMentor-X in the past 12 months.
Enforcement Actions
We may take action including content removal or account suspension based on valid government or court orders, or clear violations of our Code of Conduct, in accordance with the Shreya Singhal v. Union of India ruling and principles of natural justice.
User Appeal Rights
Users have the right to appeal moderation decisions where feasible, and we will review appeals in good faith.
User-Initiated Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or through your account settings.
Platform-Initiated Termination
UpMentor-X reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
